Three year olds thrive on predictability and routine. The three year old child will experience this and so much more in our program. Circle time is a highlight of their day. Children gather together to share ideas, act out familiar stories, cook, and perform science experiments. Children learn about having a job in the classroom, such as being the day’s weather person. They learn to take turns, and to develop patience. They learn to count, to raise their hands, and how to walk in a line. More importantly, they learn to be a caring and compassionate friend.
Three year old classrooms have a variety of centers that offer opportunities for color, number and letter recognition, fine motor skill development, and problem solving. Language skills and social emotional development are integrated into each and every day.
